project description

Shortly after completing my Masters I joined Latra Innovation Lab, a small organisation with a design studio located inside a refugee camp on the Island of Lesvos, Greece.  Latra aims to improve the lives of the people there  by levering technology through product design, architecture, education and more.

As well as having organised a number of workshops surrounding 3D printing and making I developed a 3D printing component which allowed for the broken tent pole to be up-cycled. This component enabled the refugees to build modular furniture in function of their need.
